Tuna Salad Cabbage Wraps with Avocado!

These babies are super easy to whip up, taking about 10 minutes. We used avocado instead of the classic mayo to get more micronutrients and because it’s extra delicious. These make a perfect lunch on the go.

Ingredients:

  • 1- 5 oz can of tuna in water, drained

  • 1/2 a medium avocado RIPE (it needs to be easy to mash)

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 tea spoon dill

  • 1/4  teaspoon celery salt

  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon

  • 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard

  • 1 Persian cucumber, diced

  • 1/4 Red onion, diced

  • 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes (about 8), quartered

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 3-4 leaves off a head of cabbage

Directions:

  1. Mash tuna, avocado, garlic powder, dill, celery salt, lemon juice, and dijon mustard in a bowl, until all ingredients are combined.

  2. Add cucumber, onion, & cherry tomato and stir in.

  3. Peel off leaves of lettuce, fill with salad, and enjoy.
